One may like it or not, but a point in favour of carts is that you can
immediately play the game, while for binaries you need the Supercharger. In
my opinion, it's not obvious that everybody still into the 2600 has also a
Supercharger. It would be interesting to have some data... how many classic
games enthusiasts with a 2600 are there around, and how large is the part
of them with the SC?
And don't forget that, while in US Superchargers can be obtained cheap and
almost easily, the same isn't true in Europe. Luckyly I've still got mine
bought in 1983, but if I wanted another I would have to buy if by mail from
US.
