I think it would be nice if there were an assembler that could handle
various flavors, or syntaxes.  This would definitely be an advantage of
cross-compiling on a PC or MAC, where you have the space for this kind of
thing.  There is some source floating around the net that requires
conversion to use with DASM because it was written for a different
assembler.

I myself have printed source code for Solaris and Bob Smith's games which
likely is in a format incompatible with DASM.
