Subject: [stella] New puzzle game kernel... From: Colin_Hughes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wed, 25 Mar 1998 09:27:15 +0000 |
Hi, I've been playing with a new kernel for a new puzzle game I'm working on... At the moment it's still a bit of a hack ( only tested on PC-atari and Stella ) The game will be a puzzle game involving a cowboy lassooing cattle together before they stampede you. I'll probally call it stampede or round up or something... Thing's already in Main playfield display of corral (using temp graphic at moment ) Lassoo over top of play graphics. Thing's to go in; Change graphics to animated cows heads Add Cowboy sprite under game playfield Score routine. Game logic. Sound. ( I'll actually put sound in this time ) Any comments from anyone... (See attached file: Puzzle.bin)(See attached file: Puzzle.s) Cheers, Colin. There is no casual piracy. The only people who it > will stop are the clueless pirates and people trying to learn who don't > have all the fancy equipment (like myself). I consider a casual pirate to have the means to copy things, but not really understand how to create them in the first place. A not-so-casual pirate would be the type of person who has a hacker's abilities to wade through code and hardware, but not the ethical code associated with a true hacker. My personal opinion is that most pirates today could pretty easily copy a .bin file, and then take that to a friend who has a burner. Fewer of them have the equipment to actually make the cartridges. Fewer still have the equipment and/or knowledge to do a hardware intercept/debug coupled with eating ML code for breakfast. -Chris -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/stella.html Don't post pirate BINs to Stellalist.
