now that sounds like a cool idea, it would be usable even when not in the VCS, you could wear it around your neck like famed rapper Flava Flav (but much cooler).

That would be pretty cool, but I still think the best solution as far as
a hardware/software combo goes would be to build a clock cart that has
some sort of clock in it that feeds the time variables to the 2600 and
has a battery backup. That way you wouldn't have to re-enter the time
each time you want to play a game. Maybe even have a wee digital LCD
display on the cart itself so you can see the time when the cart isn't
in the machine.

Or maybe I'll just glue my sailor-moon ring watch to the back of my cart. ;)
