RE>Re: [stella] Awwwwww CRAP!!!!!! 9/17/98 now that sounds like a cool idea, it would be usable even when not in the VCS, you could wear it around your neck like famed rapper Flava Flav (but much cooler). timm -------------------------------------- Date: 9/17/98 3:42 PM To: Timm Carr From: Chris Cracknell In article <v01510103b2264bbea4f0@[207.229.149.114]>, you wrote: >PatMan mentioned a PBS time sync signal (Sep 12) -- wouldn't it be neat >if you could just run a coax to joystick splitter/adaptor that would be >autotuned to the PBS channel and pull out the time sync signal? :-) ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ That would be pretty cool, but I still think the best solution as far as a hardware/software combo goes would be to build a clock cart that has some sort of clock in it that feeds the time variables to the 2600 and has a battery backup. That way you wouldn't have to re-enter the time each time you want to play a game. Maybe even have a wee digital LCD display on the cart itself so you can see the time when the cart isn't in the machine. Or maybe I'll just glue my sailor-moon ring watch to the back of my cart. ;) CRACKERS (That'll work from hell!!!!!) -- Collector of Atari 2600 carts - Accordionist - Bira Bira Devotee - Anime fan * http://www.hwcn.org/~ad329/crab.html | Crackers' Arts Base * * http://www.angelfire.com/ma/hozervideo/index.html | Hozer Video Games * Nihongo ga dekimasu - 2600 programmer - Father of 2 great kids - Canadian eh -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/ RFC-822 Header: ---------------------------------------------------- Received: from biglist.com (biglist.com [207.240.140.203]) by vego.interaccess.com (8.8.8/8.7.5) with ESMTP id JAA29664 for <timm.carr@xxxxxxxxxxxx>; Thu, 17 Sep 1998 09:18:18 -0500 (CDT) Received: (from majordom@localhost) by biglist.com (8.8.8/8.8.5) id KAA06599 for stella-outgoing; Thu, 17 Sep 1998 10:47:43 -0400 (EDT) Received: from hwcn.org (4329@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [199.212.94.66]) by biglist.com (8.8.8/8.8.5) with ESMTP id KAA06595 for <stella@xxxxxxxxxxx>; Thu, 17 Sep 1998 10:47:41 -0400 (EDT) Received: (from ad329@localhost) by hwcn.org (8.9.1a/8.9.1) id KAA01942; Thu, 17 Sep 1998 10:44:38 -0400 (EDT) Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 10:44:38 -0400 (EDT) From: Chris Cracknell <crackers@xxxxxxxx> Message-Id: <199809171444.KAA01942@xxxxxxxx> To: stella@xxxxxxxxxxx References: <v01510103b2264bbea4f0@[207.229.149.114]> Subject: Re: [stella] Awwwwww CRAP!!!!!!
