Wow, an iMac! Glad my page is now iMac friendly. ;)

I certainly can't recommend MacUnzip for at least one reason: It doesn't recognize ZipIt files. Rather, it doesn't know what to do with files zipped by ZipIt. Mac files have two "forks" in which code is stored. The first is the data fork and the second is the resource fork. The data fork holds what you'd think of as the zip file in this case. The resource fork holds info like, "What does the file's icons look like?"

MacUnZip works alright with zip files, but with ZipIt files, it gets bogged down with the resource fork and freaks out.

With respect to Stuffit with EE, I never used it until I needed to... heck, I don't even remember the compression format anymore. Anyway, I've only needed it once, so I downloaded the shareware version and tossed it after I was done. ZipIt and the freeware Stuffit are enough for me.

But that's just my 2¢.
