Each chip had 2K bytes of memory. This gave a total of 6K. There was also a 2K ROM build in for the cassette bootstrap code. Adding DRAM to a VCS is a nightmare, I worked on a project in 1980-81 that hadd a cable TV interface to the VCS with 64K of DRAM and a Z80 to allow it to play network games. The project was eventually scrapped. Wahh!!! Burger -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
