I have opened up the trak-ball and had a quick look at the board.
I'm no electronic expert, but the board didn't look modified to me.
There were two wires soldered between two of the chips, but since
it was a REV-A board, I suppose that's normal.
But why do you want to modify a VCS trak-ball for the ST? Aren't
there trak-balls that were specifically disigned for the ST?
