At 12:32 PM 6/7/99 -0400, you wrote: >Ok...what's the difference between composite and Y/C? (other than the cable) Chris, If you know how to tap the luma and chroma, then you should be able to build a Y/C rather than a composite adapter for the 2600. Y/C is luma & chroma, brightness & color separated. This is a cleaner signal because you avoid chroma noise and dot crawl, artefacts that are a byproduct of mixing the luma and chroma into a "composite" signal and then trying to extract them inside the TV. ========================================================= == Glenn Saunders --3D Graphics / Videography / Web development-- == == krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/1698 == == Cyberpunks homepage http://cyberpunks.atari.org == ========================================================= -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
