Chris,
	If you know how to tap the luma and chroma, then you should be able to
build a Y/C rather than a composite adapter for the 2600.  Y/C is luma &
chroma, brightness & color separated.  This is a cleaner signal because you
avoid chroma noise and dot crawl, artefacts that are a byproduct of mixing
the luma and chroma into a "composite" signal and then trying to extract
them inside the TV.
