Are you familiar with digital design [snip] In the case of the 2600, the TIA's clock runs at 3.58 megahertz (approx). This results in 228 "color clocks" (= pixels) per scanline. This graphics clock is divided by 3 inside the TIA to pruduce the 1.19MHz clock for the 6507, which can't run at 3.58MHz. Thus, 76 "machine cycles" per scanline. -Chris -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
