Pitfall II reads all of its graphics data from the extra ROM only. and I think it uses all the different reading methods for this. Also the random number genarators are used in the game. Since Pitfall II doesn't have any swinging vines anymore, I don't think that the register, that creates data for drawing lines, is used.
