EEP! This is not what I've observed. Systems that put out a noninterlaced
display do in fact skip every other scan line-- by definition. This is
especially obvious when switching between, say, the 2600 and an Astrocade,
which does put out an interlaced signal. Areas of solid color on the
Astrocade look *much* more "solid" than on the 2600.
