The only thing you probably could do here is to change the colour of the progress bars and make them advance from the inner to the outer. ;-) And the SC seems to be decoding the header tone during the starfield screen, to clean up everything for the loading, so adding a different splash screen might not be too easy. Changing the text on the other hand is pretty simple. The SC has a 40 pixel display with six lines of text: REWIND TAPE STOP TAPE PRESS PLAY Depending on what needs to be displayed, it changes the colour to blank out the unwanted lines. So if anyone can come up with different text that can be used in the same situations and that fits into a 40 pixel display, it would be easy to use it for the SD Charger. So for example, you could replace REWIND TAPE with CHAD SHELL, but then you would always see a flashing CHAD whenever a loading error occurs. ;-) The text lines are 8 pixels high BTW, if anyone wants to try to draw some graphics instead.
