I didn't think it was that awful, to be honest. I don't recall that it
ever hampered my enjoyment of the games at all. Then again, I really
only played Robotron, Joust, and Sinistar. Perhaps the others were
worse? I guess that Defender and Stargate could suffer more, but they
were never my favorites and I don't think I've played them since I first
bought the disc. Not sure about Bubbles.
