alright first off i hope this is not off topic, but i am starting a project that is to get all the schematics for the atari 2600 jr. this is because none have been found yet. i know there are schematics for the 4 switch and other systems but none for you jr. and yes there are a few internal diff's from the 4 to the jr.

anyway i have the power section almost done and am looking for help doing the rest, so if anyone is good at electronics or wants to help please reply and let me know what you can do.

i want to do this as i am sure it will help unlock a few secrets about this great system and mabe even lead to some great hardware hacks that will make programming on this system even better.

Heh. I already RE'd and schematicized the 2600. I had to generate them when I made Bankzilla so I knew what went where. Of course the vid circuit on Bankzilla is different than the one shown on the schematic, but this is for a 2600 Jr.

As for unlocking secrets, there's not really much there which isn't already known 'cause it is a pretty simple setup.

BTW, I'm still looking for a gate-level schematic for the TIA. What ever happened to someone hunting down more info on this? Did anything come about from it? I could make custom TIA's using FPGA's possibly which output RGB video directly. (much higher quality than a regular TIA can produce)
