If someone were to donate an Atari, usually they're donating the console, 20-30 games, 2-3 controller, etc... Thrift stores here try to keep systems together and sell the whole thing for $40. You can hardly find just a console, or individual carts. Same goes for PC hardware, I found a great old IBM keyboard, with no price tag. Expecting to pay $5 or less, took it to the counter... they told me it was part of a system (an IBM AT, complete with 9" monochrome monitor), which cost $60. The other thrift store never has anything higher-tech than a typewriter. #undef RANT_MODE Sorry bout that, had to get it off my chest..
