OK, I was wrong about my 27c128's. They're actually ST M27C256B's, 32Kx8.
My programmer handles those just fine, or at least I was able to store bytes
in an area that was all FF's and read them back.
Does anyone make a development cart that can use 27c256b's?
So far all my 2716's seem bad, and I haven't tried the 2732's. I did manage
to shrink my colortwk.bin demo to fit in 2k, so I might like to use a 2716
for it...
