That's fine, aside from the fact that the quality of VCD's picture is 
hardly better than VHS.  I went from BetaSP to the video toaster flyer and 
mastered back to BetaSP.  While it may not be as clean as the theoretical 
limit of DVD, it's a lot better than VHS and VCD can provide.

So if I'm going to charge for something, I want it to look as good as 
possible, even though, by and large, we're mostly talking about just 
talking heads.

If I'm not going to charge, I'd just post the MPEGs online instead of 
pressing discs, and then I'd be able to pick any codec I like, some of 
which are better than VCD's MPEG1 codec, such as DivX.
