Hm, did anybody actually play with the playfield convertor I wrote in perl? Or
do you mean some other perl utility? I'm always interested in perl tools, since
I do 99% of my development on a Linux box (no VB or MS-DOS mode here...) and
only use Windows for final testing with Z26 before burning an EPROM.

A good idea for a chapter in the v2 Guide (maybe even this chapter we're
talking about) would be `How to set up a basic development environment', on
DOS/Win, Linux, and Mac... Somebody on this list (Jake, maybe?) is using a
Mac, I wouldn't know where to start with one :)
