Check VBLANK again.  The line numbers sound about right, but I think you
may have the polarity mixed up.  What you've written above turn video *on*
during sync and *off* during the visible part of the frame.

LMAO!!!  Yes, it is truly amazing what a skilled programmer can do with
limited resources.  Of course, these days....it amazes me what programmers
CAN'T do with seemingly *infinite* resources.  Grrr....

I SAID GRRRRRR!!!!!!!

I'll try to respond to this and the other post later in the week.  I'm swamped
