Now that the TIA schematics are available one would expect that it would be straightforward. But I'm very curious as to how straightforward it would actually be. I'm not sure if by looking at the TIA schematics one could predict for example the Cosmic Ark effect, or any of the multitude of other weird effects having to do with sprite positioning. > Mind you, how much further before you can emulate a > VCS on a Microcontroller in its own right ? Good question. But I like the idea of a hardware oriented approach to see if the machine can be re-implemented in what would appear to be the easiest possible way. Then maybe the understanding of how the machine actually works could be *ported* to software.
