Hi Chad!

Good point.

So it'd be in the headlines for years? ;-)

Hm... well, well
The more I'm thinking about it, the more I think about fixing that code.
Especially since I don't want to have to deal with Xth different versions
in the future. And it doesn't make that much sense wanting people here
to playtest anything for me and disabling CCs on the other hand.

Do you think that adding a SEC or CLC would generate reliable
checksums on all systems?

Point is, that I don't want to remove the Hack-Protection, for reasons
I explained in former mails. (->Kabul-Kaboom)

(again: Disabling the CC slipped in by pure accident)

So I've to somehow secure that it works without disabling any hard-
or software.

Would it be a safe way to run the checksums in every page only
from $00-$EF? (That and/or freeing $FFF8?)

Greetings,
     Manuel
