Hi Kirk! >> Projects like that (FAQs, Programmer guides, Crash >> Courses, Tutorials, Workshops etc. ) are thought of >> every 1/2 a year here and usually die rather quickly :-) >Hey, I think 2600 101 was a reasonable success... >(even if that was due to starting with a limited scope) >Of course, my followup "2600 Cookbook" idea seems stuck >in the vaporware stage, but hey. Hehe, well I myself once announced doing a tutorial which never saw the light of day, too. There's a few remarkable projects that really made it somewhere (The Dig, The HTMLized version of the programmers guide and yes - your 101!), but they seem to be rather the exception than the rule. I fully understand that, since I myself prefer programming over writing any time, just like Mark said. But that doesn't prevent me from encouraging any attempt :-) Greetings, Manuel ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
