I'm That'll be neat. I always enjoyed Fargoal, and I lost my C64 over many evenings while my wife played it. I think only three computer games have ever interested my wife, Fargoal was one. Stellar Seven on my Amiga was another. I can't think of the third right now, but it seems like there was one more. She was ready to have me buy a CMD C64 accelerator just to hurry up the healing in Fargoal back when we didn't have the money for such things. I'm working on a Pong variant I call "Texas Table Tennis" on an on-again, off-again basis around time spent with AVR microcontroller projects in the evening. The paddles can shoot, you'll be able to shoot holes in the opponent's paddle, and shoot rows of bottles behind the opponent's paddle. If you shoot the ball by accident, the opponent scores. I'd like to add a "saloon fight" sequence, with objects like chairs, knives, and bottles flying across the play area generally messing things up, but I've got to get the game generally whipped into a playable shape first, it's more of a technical test right now. It fits easily on a 2K ROM at present, but once music and the saloon fight are added it'll probably need 4K. -Mark ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
