With less than 1Ghz you can even emulate a GBA which is emulating a VCS in real-time - all written in C++ :-) Hm... an idea... stupid maybe... but do you have the TIA chip emulated? I mean *real* emulation of all the digital logic stuff inside, not just programming a black box pretending to be a TIA?
