Hi Darrell,

Its great to hear someone is going to be working on improving the Mac version of Stella. BTW, I recently discovered a bug in the current Stella for Mac. When you write to RESBL, the emulator does not start drawing the Ball at the new position until the next scanline. The ball should be drawn on the same scanline as the RESBL starting 4 pixels after the write to RESBL. It would be great if you could make fixing this bug a priority in your port to OS-X.

Thanks,
Rob

I'll of course keep Windows boxes around to run various DOS and Windows software, but that's it. I'm hoping someone will update Stella for OS X (I don't expect Z26 to be ported to OS X).

I've moved to OS X and will be looking into updating Stella to run there next year. I used to maintain the OS/2 port of Stella, but had issues with my VAC++ compiler not supporting C++ features that Brad used in the later releases. I don't think that will be an issue under OS/X as GCC is available.
