You know, I've always wondered how the original Pong arcade hardware handled ball movement. I'm sure it was something dead simple since there was no CPU, just discrete hardware. I haven't taken the time to trace through the schematics, but I bet it's interesting. Also, I've never played an original "analog" Magnavox Odyssey.
