Trust me, I know how helpful Stella list can be. Lately I've been
a little proud of myself for not ALWAYS coming here, hat in hand,
asking "could someone show me what I'm doing wrong"...I've gotten a
bit better at isolating weird problems to see what I'm doing wrong,
and learned to aboid many of the rookie mistakes that haunted me
a while back.

But in this case, I'd basically have to say "could someone write me
a new kernal, please"...if I wasn't doing all the wall stuff,
MAYBE I could take a stab at it, and I'm sure some of the
mortal gods who walk this newsgroup would do a better job if they
were doing it for themselves, but what it comes down to is
A. I don't think the flicker is that horrendous
B. I'd like to get this done soon--ideally, for Philly Classic
C. I'd like it to be somewhat my code..."I ain't too proud to beg"
when its come to many of the routines I use, but JoustPong really
is my baby and I'd like to see it to its end.
