"It's the cracked ones who let the light into the world" was the tagline from the 1989 movie "Cracked," which was notable for its amazing use of high-end CGI (produced on SGI machines) in, well, 1989, in a movie with a total budget of something like $75,000. It was directed by a man named Shaw who was the brother of Bob Shaw, the Chaos Cabal physicist at UCSC, and it was his brother's SGI boxes he used to do the CGI. Adam
