Every yahoo groups list I've ever been on has been hit by spammers.
I vote No there.

Sourceforge is cool, but I'm not convinced we'd have the latitude to
customize things the way we'd like.

Mailman I'm familiar with.  Hosted on Atariage servers or elsewhere, I
don't care too much as long as we're reasonably sure it'll be a stable
host.
