That leaves legitimate buyers out in the cold if they want to play the game on their laptop when they're not at home, or play it even though the wife/kids are tying up the TV. That's perfectly OK (whoever writes a game owns it, whoever buys it is licensing it), but the buyer should know this up-front. I personally wouldn't want to buy a 2600 game that could only be played on a real 2600, just like I wouldn't buy a CD could only be played on a CD player (and not a computer)... especially not if CDs were "obsolete" tech and I had to use a 25-year-old CD player that I'd have a hard time replacing if it died. > Who wants to be the first to integrate an authentic Atari Slapstic into a > 2600 cart? /me runs away screaming and drooling :) -- B.
