Subject: format-date? Was: XSLT and XPath Proposed Recommendations From: "Clark C. Evans" <clark.evans@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 10 Oct 1999 23:38:18 -0400 (EDT) |
James, The proposed recommendations looks wonderful. The only thing which I would have wished for is a "format-date" function string format-date(date-string,from-format,to-format) to allow date/time conversions... horribly useful buggers. The formats would be as specified by the Java 1.1 SimpleDateFormat class: http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.1/docs/api/java.text.SimpleDateFormat.html Thanks!
