Subject: probably a stupid question (fwd) From: "Carole E. Mah" <carole@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 9 Mar 2000 21:07:08 -0500 (EST) |
Earlier, I asked: Any idea why Saxon (or XT) would put the following in the output, even though there is nothing I can see in my stylesheet that would make it do that? p.c5 {font-style: italic} ul.c4 {margin-left: -2em} p.c3 {font-weight: bold} h3.c2 {font-weight: bold} h2.c1 {font-weight: bold} FYI, I just now discovered the culprit -- Tidy. I do not get this when I skip the Tidy pre-processing step (of course, then the transformation fails because the HTML is too dirty). My full Tidy command is: tidy -ic -utf-8 -asxml myInputfile.html -carole - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Carole E.
