Subject: xt's date extension function From: Linda van den Brink <lvdbrink@xxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 14:22:26 +0100 |
Hi all, Does anyone know if the output format of xt's date function, which is included with the demo files and on the xt product page, can be (easily) changed? The output is currently "Mon Mar 20 14:02:12 GMT+01:00 2000". I would like it to be something like "2000-03-20", at least a format with only day, month, and year, in numbers. I don't know any Java, so if someone has a solution, please take me through it nice and slow :-) The content of the 'date.xsl' demo file as distributed with xt is: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:date="http://www.jclark.com/xt/java/java.util.Date"> <xsl:template match="/"> <html> <xsl:if test="function-available('date:to-string') and function-available('date:new')"> <p><xsl:value-of select="date:to-string(date:new())"/></p> </xsl:if> </html> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> Thanks!
