Fair enough: you can work out the logical location of the namespace definition but not the physical location, just as you can't work out whether an attribute has been assigned a default value or actually declared, or whether a '>' has been represented as a '>' or '>' or '>', whether " or ' were used as quotes around attribute values and so on. I guess it depends on how far you're prepared to go to recreate exactly the source XML that you're displaying, regardless of logical equivalence.
