Subject: [xsl] Remove <?xml version> line from output? From: "Nice, Kerry A. (LNG-SHEP)" <Kerry.Nice@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 21 Dec 2000 21:36:51 -0400 (EST) |
Hi, I'm using xalan to transform XML documents to RTF. It works fine except I get the <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> line as the first line of my file which has to be stripped off before it will work as a RTF document. Is there anyway to suppress this during the transformation so I don't have to resort to string manipulation on the finished file. (I'm just using the SimpleTransform demo program from Xalan.) So, basically <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\uc1 etc... will become {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\uc1 etc. Thanks, Kerry. -------- Kerry Nice Java Programmer LEXIS Publishing, Shepard's "Bring me the head of David Hasselhoff" XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
