FWIW I found a (hard)copy of the Stanford Report No STAN-CS-83-977 "Word Hy-phen-a-tion by Com-put-er" by Franklin Mark Liang (August 1983) in the archives section of the CERN Library. The report has viii+85 pages and corresponds to Liang's PhD Thesis. I guess I could send a copy of it to one or two interested people, but I doubt I can put a scanned copy up on the Web in complete legality (it has Franklin Mark Liang as the 1983 copyright owner). mg ------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Michel Goossens Téléphone/Phone: (+41 22) 767-4902 IT Division Télécopie/Fax: (+41 22) 767-8630 CERN Courriel/Email: goossens@xxxxxxx CH-1211 Geneva 23 ou/or F-01631 CERN Cedex Switzerland France XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
