Subject: [xsl] Identity question From: "Morris, Chris" <ChrisM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 17 Jan 2001 11:38:20 -0600 |
Why does this: <?xml version="1.0"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output method="xml" /> <xsl:template match="@*|node()"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> ... change this: <?xml version="1.0"?> <Sample> <Child PropA="A" PropB="B" /> </Sample> ... into this: <?xml version="1.0"?> <Sample> <Child PropA="A" PropB="B"> </Child> </Sample> ... I'm getting a separate closing tag when I don't want one. (Using the MS XML 3 parser... in case that matters).
