Subject: [xsl] Any suggestions for using XSL to do frames and such? From: "Kevin Duffey" <kevin.duffey@xxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 22 Jan 2001 21:46:48 -0800 |
Hi all, I am working on a project that requires the use of 3 frames. I am using JSP to return dynamic XML and using XSL to transform it. I would like to use the same header and footer on every page but I am not sure exactly how I would go about this. I see there is an include directive, but am not quite sure if that is what I should use or not. What I do in JSP is include a .inc include file that is nothing more than JSP stuff, and I do that at compile time (not run-time) so that an include at the top is "global" to the rest of the page. I would like to use JSP to return dynamic XML for the header and for the footer, so I don't think including XSL is the best way. Instead, I would want to somehow have the header and footer both be done by JSP to XML output, then include that output into the top and bottom of every XSL page. Anyone have a recomendation on how to do this? thanks. XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
