Michael Kay I am not sure I completely understand but it sounds like you are trying to keep track of where you are at in a loop so you can get to the same place in another loop with a similar structure. Try defining the position as a variable. <xsl:for-each select="myNode/theNode"> <xsl:variable name="thePosition" select="position()"/> Then <xsl:value-of select="estimate[$thePosition]"/> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
