I think there were different gods back then when DTDs were first written. Anyway, see: http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xmlschema-0-20010502/ which is a good introduction that leads into the whole spec. Robin Cover has a great deal of information: http://www.oasis-open.org/cover/schemas.html And there's a start on XSLT and Schema at: http://www.dpawson.co.uk/xsl/schema.html Alternative Schemas include RELAX: http://www.xml.gr.jp/relax/ Max www.siliconpublishing.org/ -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Marcus Klinge Sent: Monday, May 07, 2001 12:34 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [xsl] generating a DTD with XML/XSL Hi there. We are currently at a project where we are planning to use an XML-stylesheet (why a DTD isn`t XML-conformant, only the gods know) to generate a DTD and an XML-Input mask. Now a colleague mentioned XML-Schemas might be the trick we need. Where can I find Information on those? or (another way) how can I test for multiple elements in an XML?
