Subject: Re: [xsl] How to output a xmlns:prefix attribute (special case) From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 14 Jul 2001 12:13:03 +0100 |
Thanks David, it works (after fixing the typo) :-) Here there also a way to add a *default* namespace declaration to the xsd:schema element ? In this case there is no dummy name x, just an URI ? Yes just use the default namespace in the variable and fish it out using namespace::* but you never want to do this. You sometimes need to use this trick to produce namespace nodes for prefixes that are used in _content_ rather than element or attribute names but (surely) no one would use the default namespace and not have _any_ elements in that namespace would they? If there are elements in the namespace in the result tree th enamespace will be added automatically.
