Zhongqing:

<xsl:variable name="val3" select="$val1 + $val2"/>

Note that $val1 and $val2 have to be in scope for this to work, of course.

Wendell

Hi,

How do you add two variable and assign to the third one in XSLT?

<xsl:variable name="val1">1</xsl:variable> <xsl:variable name="val2">1</xsl:variable> <xsl:variable name="val3">1</xsl:variable>

How to do: $val3=$val1+$val2
