That works but other alternatives (arguably more politically correct)
would be

<fo:block> some text here,</fo:block>
<fo:block>some more text after a break </fo:block>

or
<fo:block> some text here,
some more text after a break </fo:block>

with the appropriate white space properties set so teh linebreak is
preserved, something like

linefeed-treatment="preserve"
