You cannot have a subtree in an attribute value. Attribute can only have a string value. So I presume you need serialize children subtree somehow (there is something in th faq about it I believe) and put that string to the attribute.I have the following xslt code to loup through parents and I have an image for each parent, I want also to copy in a attribute all the xml code exactly as I have.(<children><child ....</child></children>), with exactly all nodes and attributes.
