Quick tip: if you want to know which processor you're using, you can output the following: <xsl:value-of select="system-property('xsl:vendor')"/> This sometimes returns the version of the processor as well, although the value is implementation-specific (for instance, Saxon 6.5.2 returns "SAXON 6.5.2 from Michael Kay"; MSXML 3 returns "Microsoft"). The other system properties required by the XSLT 1.0 spec are xsl:version, which returns the version of XSLT supported by the processor (*not* the release version of the processor itself), and xsl:vendor-url, which returns the URL of the vendor's Web site. There may be other system properties for a specific implementation. At least once you know the vendor, you can find documentation for the processor to unlock its other secrets. hth, b. | brian martinez brian.martinez@xxxxxxxx | | lead gui programmer 303.708.7248 | | trip network, inc. fax 303.790.9350 | | 6436 s. racine cir. englewood, co 80111 | | http://www.cheaptickets.com/ http://www.trip.com/ | XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
