You would, but XSL-FO version 1.0 does not support more than one flow. When you said you wanted alternating even and odd pages, that can only be done for static content in XSL-FO version 1.0.


What I am doing wrong?

I'm sure it will come in a later version, but not being on the XSL-FO committee I couldn't even hazard a guess as to when.
