Subject: Re: [xsl] matching certain attributes in other xml files with the document() function From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 9 May 2003 16:40:30 +0100 |
<xsl:variable name="doc-id" select="$doc/root/object[@id=$object-id]/path[@xlink:href]"/> That would return the string value of a path element, the string value of the element you showed is "" as the path element is empty. You seem to want the string value of the href attribute, not the string value of a path element that has an href attribute, so that should be path/@xlink:href not path[@xlink:href] David ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
