Hi David, This was my orginal post " Hi All, here is my problem..i have to use 2 variables to reach a tag in my xml, i tried using <xsl:apply-templates select="$tag/$subtag"> it didnt work, does anyone know another way of doing it? or is it doable at all? " I am not sure if you saw the first part of my post. I sure didnt do a good job of explaining what kind of variables $tag and $subtag are.
