Subject: RE: [xsl] XSLT 2.0 empty string: Summary? From: "Pawson, David" <David.Pawson@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 2 Mar 2005 08:41:00 -0000 |
-----Original Message----- From: Michael Kay > Which is strange. If I do "$foo is empty" then Saxon tells me $foo is > a string and not a nodeset. mk explanation snipped. If I can get past the DC math filter without reprimand, I think his point that the {} empty set is a member of any set was the Ah-ha moment for me. That's what allows the as="xs:string?" to succeed rather than report the error. regards DaveP -- DISCLAIMER: NOTICE: The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and may be privileged.
