Hi, XSLT does not delete nodes. You either select or do not select a particular node to be copied to the output based on a match condition. In your case, the match condition could be <xsl:template match="XXX"> <xsl:if test="not( string-length(.) = 0)"> <xsl:value-of select="."/> </xsl:if> </xsl:template> Cheers, Omprakash.V 04083259@broo kes.ac.uk To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cc: (bcc: omprakash.v/Polaris) 04/01/2005 Subject: [xsl] delete a node 09:23 PM Please respond to xsl-list hi how ca i delete the empty element <xxx></xxx> from the following list: <xxx></xxx> <xxx>50</xxx> <xxx>40</xxx> <xxx>55</xxx> <xxx></xxx> <xxx>44</xxx> <xxx>555</xxx> <xxx>5554</xxx> <xxx></xxx> <xxx></xxx> thanks This e-Mail may contain proprietary and confidential information and is sent for the intended recipient(s) only.
